Vita
Verena Heil

1979 born in Frankfurt Main
lives and works in Flörsheim/Main (close to Frankfurt)

The artist Verena Heil draws inspiration from the moments she experiences on her travels and the unique voice that emerges during the creative process.

This is reflected in her watercolors, which mostly dipict vividly sketched urban landscapes.

On the other hand, she uses complex processes to create abstract images in the style of Gerhard Richter.

In her new series, she combines the two styles and brings urban city scenes reminiscent of her watercolors onto previously abstract designed large format canvases.
Her artistic aim is to achieve a delicate balance between atmosphere, luminosity and color, but also to sisrupt it, creating a fascinating interplay between harmony and chaos.
Her love of impressionism and abstract art is clearly evident in all of her works.
She aquired her knowledge autodidactically over the years and also took lessons from various well known artists such as Alex Hillkurtz, Paris; Gonzalo Ibanet, Santiago de Chile and developed her own style.
