About Verena Heil

Verena Heil has been painting since she was a child and has never stopped developing her art. She took part in many workshops by world-renowned artists (Alex Hillkurtz, Gonzalo Ibanez, etc) and developed her own style. Although she works in several genres, she manages to powerfully interpret light effects and atmosphere, which convey the soul of her paintings. It is her desire to help students paint from their heart like she does.

Verena Heil is a member of the "German Watercolor Society" DAG her paintings are in current exhibition in the annular exhibition of DAG in Borken Germany.

Watercolor courses

Description: Capture the magic of watercolor painting in this course with Verena Heil. This is an opportunity to have fun and enjoy learning the techniques and pillars of watercolor painting from scratch and to create expressive images. You will learn to simplify scenes to achieve the greatest possible effect. We discuss color relationships, tonal values, shapes, light and shadow, perspective, composition, focus and much more... In a cheerful and familiar atmosphere, you can look over the shoulders of the great masters at a weekend workshop and learn exactly what you always wanted to know in order to take your skills to a whole new level! The workshop will be in the studio and, weather permitting, we will also have the opportunity to paint plein air in Frankfurt City.
